The new, internationally patented "squareback" series is now available in 8', 10', and 12' models in Pacific Pearl, Duck Hunter Green (Olive Drab) and a new color, Aluminium. The Porta-Bote hulls weigh in at an ultra light 49 lbs., 59 lbs. and 69 lbs., respectively. The redesigned folding craft can be easily opened or closed in just a few minutes and weigh half as much as comparable aluminum boats. The incredibly tough "space age" polypropylene flexihull R contains an ultraviolet filter that helps prevent oxidation from the sun. This exotic, engineered resin hull material is warranted by the manufacturer for 10 FULL YEARS. It never needs painting and is unaffected by salt water. According to the manufacturer, the new models meet Coast Guard maximum capacity requirements. All are NMMA Certified.

Heightened interest in the "portable folding boat concept" is the result of recent dramatic changes in the lifestyles of fishing and boating enthusiasts, worldwide.
